Pokeit works by reading the hand histories the Grand Poker Network client saves on your computer and uploading them into your account via the Pokeit client. Here are the steps for configuring the Grand Poker Network client so that it can work with Pokeit:
Hand Histories
Follow these steps to ensure the Grand Poker Network client is saving hand history files to your computer:
- From the poker lobby click on Options > Display all Options
- Select Table > General
- Make sure 'Save game history to disk' is selected
By default, hand histories will be saved to this location:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\<Sitename>\HandHistory
Where <Username> is your computer user and <Sitename> is the name of the Grand Poker Network skin you're playing on.
Language
Grand Poker Network must be set up to save hand histories in English in order for Pokeit to work. Here's how to configure the language in your Grand Poker Network client:
- From the Grand Poker Network lobby, click Options > Display all Options
- Select General > General
- Make sure the language is set to English
Preferred Seat
You can set a preferred seat in the Grand Poker Network client so that you'll always appear in the same location at the table. Here are the steps for setting that up:
- From the poker lobby click on Options > Display all Options
- Select Table > Preferred Seat
- You can then choose a preferred seat for each table layout
- Click 'Apply' when you're done
If you do set a preferred seat, you'll need to set that same seat as a 'favorite' while using the HUD. To do so, simply right click on the HUD closest to your position at the table and select 'Set as Favorite Seat'.
