Pokeit works by reading the hand histories iPoker saves on your computer and uploading them into your account via the Pokeit client. Here are the steps for configuring iPoker so that it can work with Pokeit.
Hand Histories
Follow these steps to ensure the iPoker client is saving hand history files to your computer:
- From the iPoker lobby, click on My Account > Settings
- Go to the General section
- Check 'Store Hand History Locally'
The location for saving hand histories on your computer is:
C:\Users\<Username>\Local\<iPoker Client>\data\<Screenname>\History\Data
Where Username is your current computer user, iPoker Client is the name of the iPoker skin you're playing on, and Screenname is your screen name on the site.
Tournament results information is included in iPoker hand histories so no separate files are needed.
Language
The iPoker client must be installed with the language set to English. If the language was set to something other than English at installation, you will need to reinstall the client in English in order for it to work with Pokeit.
Auto Center
iPoker has an option called 'Auto Center' which when enabled, always places you in the same spot at the bottom of the table. To configure this option:
- From the iPoker lobby, click My Account > Settings and select the Table section
- Make sure 'Auto center my seat' is enabled
If you decide to auto center, you'll need to set that same seat as a 'favorite' while using the HUD. To do so, simply right click on the HUD closest to your position at the table and select 'Set as Favorite Seat'
